Half a lifetime ago? Gas was $.549 a gallon and we thought it was high. Minimum wage was $2.60 and those of us who were making $3.50 an hour thought we were well off. AND... a large coke at McDonald's was a mere 16 ounces and we thought it was a REALLY large.
AND...your hubby's little sister was younger than Caden is now, and his little brother wasn't even a blip on a very distant radar.
BUT...each chapter in life has its own drama, with more and more characters being introduced all the time.
Opa's advice: Cherish each moment -- because you will sneeze twice, turn around once, and Caden will be going off to college.

Ugh.
Yeah, it goes quick! I have been with my husband for almost half my life. He was my boyfriend for 6 years and now my husband for almost 9. Oh my.
Yeah, I feel the same way. Life is passing much quicker now that I have Rebekah and Audrey.
Oh and Mommy monster is where Alan and Rebekah hide from me. I come find them and tickle them.
Do you think you guys are going to make it this way anytime soon?
Really?
Stacey's comment was real poignant.
